Project Brief

Live Productions Australia was engaged by K & M events to deliver full-scale corporate event production and conference AV for the United Nations Global Compact Network Australia (UNGCNA) Annual Forum. A high-profile gathering bringing together senior business leaders for critical dialogue on corporate sustainability and responsible business practice. The event was held at Doltone House Jones Bay Warf in Sydney.

The production scope covered multi-room audiovisual, with a strong focus on dynamic panel conversations and professional content capture rather than conventional presentation formats. A change in direction the day prior to the event required the team to shift from live broadcast to, on-demand recording setup - a pivot executed seamlessly without impact to the delivery plan.

Challenges & Approach

The project required the team to navigate several logistical and technical challenges in quick succession. Venue access times were revised just days out, and on the day of the forum, the team received a late notification requiring a full vacate in an hour - creating a compressed bump-out window and several logistical challenges. The crew responded with a tightly coordinated pack-down that cleared the space on time without affecting the next client's event.

Outcome

Despite the shifting schedule and venue constraints, technical execution across both rooms was flawless. The two-camera configurations enabled dynamic switching and professional framing, producing on-demand recordings that delivered an engaging, polished experience for remote attendees and stakeholders.

The team's adaptability and proactive problem-solving drew strong praise from the client, resulting in an exceptionally satisfied outcome and a seamless experience for delegates on the day.
